Since 2019, Donna Marie Gowe and the Plankanation community have been turning compassion into action by building homes, creating educational opportunities, supporting vulnerable families, and restoring hope where it is needed most. What started as one woman's commitment to helping others has grown into a movement powered by generosity, transparency, and purpose. Together, donors, volunteers, and supporters are helping people overcome hardship, achieve their goals, and create brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

The Perrys: A Home for a Visually Impaired Family
When the Plankanation met the Perrys in 2020, the family had walls - but barely. Donors stepped in to build, paint and fully furnish a house they could finally call safe.

From food packages handed out in Mountain View, Kingston to homes built across the island, Donna’s work is measured in roofs raised, students graduated, and communities reached. These are the four areas of the Giveback Program.

Tuition paid straight to bursars. In 2024 alone: a nurse, an accountant, and two doctors walked across the stage.

Positivity & purpose on wheels - partnering with Geddes, Grace and community groups to bring supplies where they're needed.
The Margins
Crowdfunded stoves, fridges, meals and emergency cash for individuals the wider safety net keeps missing.
